automatic tests
install the following packages which are needed to run the automatic test suite:
- binutils
- gcc
- gettext
- glibc-devel
- make
- yacc
- xdevel
- glibc-i18ndata
all the above packages are available on the suse linux 8.1 professional cd-set. after installing them, please have a look at
download the ``openi18n 1.2 level.1 conformance test suite'' and run the test suite according to the instructions on that page.
some of the waived tests listed at
may still fail but all other tests should pass now.
