remarks about nicolatter and canna


when using nicolatter with canna, the key-sequence to switch between japanese and english mode cannot be setup with nicoconf. the item 仮名キー： in the キー配列 tab of nicoconf works only for wnn. when canna is used, the default key-sequence to toggle between japanese and english mode is ``control-o'' and this can only be changed by editing ~/.canna. see section 6.2.1 for details how to change this.

after switching to japanese input mode, you can also access the canna menu by typing the ``home'' key and the special symbol menu of canna by typing the ``insert'' key (see figure 2)16 this works the same way as with kinput2 as described in section 6.1.3.1.3 and section 6.1.3.1.7.
